Way back in 2006 Mike Dillard was generating over 300 leads per day by using a secret system or a secret traffic formula which led to his major success in his MLM business.   As you might be aware,  generate  leads and having new prospect to talk to on a regular basis is the name of the game.  So by using the secret mlm traffic formula you can  have the advantage of learning and implementing new ways to grow your network marketing business.

This technique allowed Mike to grow his downline to the second largest in his company without making a single cold call or  having to bug his friends and family, which is something that we are all tired of doing.

In addition with this system he continues to generate over 600 leads per day and gets over 22000 visits to his websites every day.

What I will do here is to summaries many of the tactics that Mike has applied and how you can use them in your business to increase traffic to your website or blog. I will also discuss  the mindset you need to have from this point forward to grow your business on the internet.

As we all know the growth of the internet and the way people do business has greatly changed.  This growth of the internet also changes how someone can use the internet to grow their network marketing business online.  What we need to understand is that  as we have transitioned from growing a network marketing business from traditional ways to growing it online we are faced with a number of challenges.  The first one being is the increase of competition. There are so many people attempting to use the internet to get exposure and to grow their network marketing business so the competition can be fierce.

This same challenge also leads to the amount of information out there and the challenge of getting and keeping someone’s attention. Because one receives so many offers and so many attentions grabber on the internet your potential prospect “attention span” is probably the most valuable asset on keeping someone’s interest in what you have to offer. You really only have about 2 or 3 seconds to get there attention or bam they are off to another place never to return.  So if you want to keep their attention, the information and value that you deliver needs to be very targeted to your audience.

Your next challenge would be  retention or the ability of keeping your customers in your business. With so many offers coming into people on a daily basis peoples attention can be shifted very rapidly.  When someone joins your business you really only have about 2 months to really get them into the swing of things before they may be looking elsewhere for another opportunity.  If they do not get the results either through the product or the business they will probably be gone. Primarily due to once again  the amount of information and the amount of choices they have on the internet.

The other challenge is the legal aspect. Although MLM Companies want all the advantages of having their reps using the internet to bring more awareness to their products, they really don’t want to handle the legal aspects of what  might happen if a distributor is to miss-speak when making claims about their product or the potential earning.   Many MLM Companies may limit what you can do and what you can say on the internet due to them protecting themselves. Some companies have even gone so far as to tell distributor that they can not use their company name on the internet. So how do they expect you to grow your business if you can’t even market your product online?

So the question here is how do we use the new technologies and the new tools of the internet to really grow our network marketing business online?  Well Mike Dillard refers to a concept called “You INC”. What this is, is basically you need to take on the role that it’s not your product or your service that will define your success but “YOU’ as the reason why people will want to work with you. With this mind set it will allow you to generate free leads. Next it would allow to you market and sell your opportunity automatically.  It will enable you to eliminate the competition, not only from other MLM Companies but also eliminate the competition within your own MLM Company.  The other advantage that you get in developing the corporation around you is that you can create multiple streams of income. This can make you at least 10 times more money then in just building a downline.

Since in a network marketing company you really don’t own anything, when you have the mindset of incorporating yourself, you can develop your business and the multiple streams of revenue around something that you own and that would be “your list”.  It is your list and the people who choose to follow you, because you offer them value, which becomes your biggest asset. It is the relationship that you build with this list that will increase the value of this asset.

So here is the basis formula.  First build your list. Second build a relationship with your list and third market to your list.  So how do you accomplish this? Well you would need to figure out how to get traffic and then, by giving away value, you would want to capture your visitors information. As you grow your list one thing you must keep in mind is that you must have the mindset or business philosophy that you have to be willing to give without wanting anything, before you can  get them to do business with you. The reason for that is that people want to know, like and trust you first before they willing to buy from you.  When you do this people will listen to you and they will buy from you when you ask them to.  When you establish a relationship with people to meet their needs first then they will want to do business with you. If it’s all about you, you will not have success in the network marketing industry.
