So you want to grow your MLM businesss and all you keep hearing is to make a list of your friends and family and go talk to them about joining your business. How many times have you heard that.  I think the reason why so many struggle at making their MLM  business opportunity work is that they are told the wrong things and really don’t have a system.  When you have a system you basically have the road map of what you needs to do to create the success you need in your business.

Many these days want to grow their MLM business online and that makes so much sense.

This Five Step System To Growing Your MLM Business is system

that  uses the same principles whether you are building your business online of offline.  This system consist of the follow steps and will help you to say less, sound more professional and stay on track in the process.

1. Free leads: Your goals is always finding more leads and prospect for your business.
   

   Generating Free Leads

   Now there are many ways that can be effective by using your internet marketing skills, like  creating a blog and attracting your targeted market , this is more of a long term approach but with focused concentration it can be accomplishing in 3 to 6 months.  Other ways of generating leads online is the social media environment.  Networking and getting to know people on the internet using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are great way to introduce yourself to new people and get to know them.  The real focus here is to develop the relationship and see if they have a need for the opportunity you offer. This can be an endless supply of leads.  You also have to pay attention to network group which you can find on Meetup.com  and your local chamber groups.

2. The Approach – When using this system to grow your MLM business you need to approach your prospect and start the conversation to see if they have an interest.  Whether it be your warm market or cold market you need to have a similar approach.  Although some say to approach your warm market first I tend to think that  could be tough and if you start building through the cold market first and really establishing your business then when you approach your warm market you will be coming from a place of already having success

Some good approaches can be statement like:

• Do you keep your options open when it comes to creating an addition source of income as long as it doesn’t interfere with what you are currently doing.
• I have a local business that I am looking to expand do  you know anyone who is ambitious and is open to a side project to create more income

You can use statements like these to open the door to see if they or someone they know may be interested.

3.  The invitation and setting the appointment-  You want to set a time that you can get together

Set the Time Date and Place in Your Calendar

for 30 minutes with your new prospect. You want them to respect your time that you are providing to them – they are not doing you a favor and don’t be desperate.  You are there to help them to provide an answer to a problem.  In setting the appointment you need to have 5 things and this might seem trivial but this is important to making sure that your set up the appointment right and that you get a confirmation.

You want to make sure you put into you calendar :

• Their name
• The date and time
• The place which can be a local Starbucks, over the phone or on the internet
• Their cell phone number – you want to make sure you have their cell phone number so that you can reach them for any reason
• Confirm – You need to confirm the appointment then and there and get their commitment.  Say something like.  Now I just want to confirm we are going to meet next Monday May 9 at 1 o’clock at Starbucks and our goal is to review this possible way for you to generate the extra income you were talking about for your children’s college fund.  Did you write that down?

4.  The PresentationYou want to keep the presentation straight forward and direct.  Don’t over complicate the presentation but just make it concise and make sure you hits all the bullet points.  You want to keep it to no more than 30 minutes.  You don’t want to bore them or give them to much information and confuse them.

When conducting the presentation you want to get confirmation from them on questions like.

• What is motivating them to want to look into this business?
• What would solving their problem do for them and how would it affect their life?

What you are doing here is bringing them present to the need that they expressed. Then proceed to show them how this is a possible solution for them

You want to hit these five main points in your presentation:

• Company
• Product
• How to make money
• Training and Support
• Options on how to get started

Keep it simple and to the point and be prepared to answer questions.  Keep the presentation to 30 minute

5 . Training your Downline You want to be able to plug them into the training

and support that your company and your team offers so that they will learn the proper ways to run their new business.  Most company and team trainings are online these days and you want to direct them to this training right away. Get a commitment from them when they will be going through is training and set up a followup appointment with them to review the training and make sure they set their goals for the business.  Make sure that they understand the process of ordering product, enrolling others into the business, who they can call for 3 way calls and what to do when they sign up a new rep.
