Mastery of Influence - Changing Peoples Lives
Now like I’ve said before in previous posts – Skills such as influence is something that doesn’t come over night. Many people get involved in Network marketing expecting to conquer the business very quickly but unless you are already a master at influence you will have to be patient and take the time to develop this skill. If you see someone in the network marketing industry who has obtained great success and you watch them you will see that they has mastered the art of influence.
There days many are getting on the internet expecting to make money right away. What one has to realize is that they must have a totally different mindset. Most of the time they are look for a solution to an immediate problem. If you have this problem and are serious about your business you must make sure that your intentions are set correctly. No matter what industry or niche you are working in you must align yourself properly with your intention on growing your business and learning the skills you need to to be successful. With your intention set correctly you need to understand the skill to become a master recruiter in your mlm business is the skill of influence.
I will discuss here the 4 main elements to become a master of influence and really grow your MLM business.
So how can you be better at influence to grow your MLM Busienss?
When I speak about influence I am not talking about manipulating and getting people to do what you want them to do . We are talking about a skill that can be used for good and for helping other people for their betterment. What I talking about as far as influence is to connect to people in such a way that they can see working with you, or using your product or service and that doing so is something that they will benefit from based on their own needs Meeting and getting to know people , or prospects and connecting with them at an emotional level will assist them to make a change that is in their best interest.
We want to help them or show them a way that is going to line up with their belief and their goals – No manipulating. As an influencers we are merely assisting and motivated them to make a change. Most people will not make a change until the pain is big enough to force them to make the change.
So to give you more of an idea on the attributes you can work on I will speak about the four element to become a master of influence. Keep these things in mind as you run your own business and personally implement these things into your business. Know where you are and learn to improve as you develop this skill of influence.
1. Learn how to build rapport to develop influence . It is of utmost importance of building rapport.
Now there are several element to influence but building rapport is the most important. Building rapport is so important because is enables you to develop and emotional connection with your prospect. You must have some type of emotional connection with your prospect or it will be hard to develop the trust needed to do long term business with them.
Building rapport and these other element of being a master of influence will apply whether you are talking to someone over the phone , sending an email , creating a video or doing a presentation. You want to connect to people emotionally .
They need to know and feel that you are like them. They want to see a connection and share a mutual interest and they want to know that you have their best interest in mind. You cannot be just a sales person. If they think you are just trying to sell them then you will never build any trust of rapport needed to work with them
To develop rapport and become a master of influence you have to develop great listening skills. Listening to your prospect is the most powerful in understanding your prospect needs and desires. If you are talking about giving value to another human being you must really listen to them to understand what their needs are so that the value that you give them is in alignment with what their needs are. By listening and understanding their needs they will understand that you have their best interest in mind.
Another way to develop rapport is to tell stories. Stories sell facts tell. Since the buying process is an emotional process you want to tell stories that relate to people and inspire them emotionally. If you can tell a person a story that relates to them you will connect to them on an emotional level increasing the level of rapport that you are building with them.
The next element in developing a mastery of Influence in your network marketing business would be.
2. Know your target market and know who you are speaking to . You can research your market. and learn all you can about them about what their needs. But it is much easier to know your market by having had experienced what they have experienced. For example if you come from a corporate background and never really liked it and decided to leave corporate to pursue your entrepreneurial endeavor then you would relate and connect to that market. People who disliked their corporate jobs and decided to leave would be one of your targeted markets. When speaking with these people you can develop rapport and quickly understand what they might be experiencing. If you are looking for the right prospect for your business typical you would want to attract people who are like you so that you can relate to them on a personal issue.
The third element to becoming a master of influence is to get really good at asking question.

master of influence is to asks great questions. Most people generally are talking about themselves missing the entire connection of building rapport. It is only when you are able to ask really good questions and then be able to listen will you uncover your prospects needs and at the same time developing deep rapport. Listening is a very rare skill. Most people are not good at listening, if you really listen to a prospect speak you can then learn how to dig deeper into what they are actually saying by asking great questions. The outcome from this is they will know that you really care about them and what their issues, their pains, their struggles and their needs. Tap into the pain that the prospect is feeling . This is a very import step in the sales process. People will make decision to escape pain or to increase pleasure if you understand this you will be able to show them how you can help them address their issues.
As an entrepreneur your goal is to solve problem. You need to make sure you understand their pain by asking questions . Asking question enables you to uncover your prospects beliefs, values, needs and desires. You can then use this understanding of these values not to manipulate but instead to point out to them why they need to make a decision to improve their situation.
And the fourth element in developing a Mastery of Influence is Congruency
4. Congruency- In the network marketing industry you have to have belief. If you are struggling in the network marketing industry you may soon realize that if you are not congruent within your business that that is the main reason why you are not sponsoring more people into your business. If you thoughts, actions words, voice, tone, body language, emotional presence, eyes and eye contact are all in congruent your prospect will sense it and not join your business. You must be 150% certain that what you are doing is for certain otherwise they will sense it and they will not sign up with you or purchase your product or service. Prospect need confidence and certainty that they are doing the right thing by joining you or making a buying decision. They want to feel that they are making the right decision. You must be totally congruent and this comes through the phone, the videos in everything you do. Your belief relates to the congruency of what you are doing.
Too really make best use of this information and begin to use it to sponsor more people into your MLM business you need to check in with yourself to see where you are in these 4 elements of Influence and look to improve on these skills . Understanding where you are and where you need to go will give you the direction to growing this skill of influence, which is extremely important in growing your mlm business opportunity.
