Starting a Business with CityWorth

To begin working with CityWorth one can enroll as a connector. It really doesn’t cost very much and one can get started for as little as $35 . With a Connector enrollment you will receive you own Cityworth Webpage, a virtual back office, along with an email templates and all the “how to’s” to run and grow your business.

How do you get paid by CityWorth

Cityworth is a unilevel plan that pay 5 % of all CityWorth’s revenue on all purchases .  They pay this out on 6 levels. You must maintain a monthly  personal volume is $50 to receive commissions on your first 4 levels and then a level of $200 per month for compensation on all 6 levels. This can allow one to not be out of pocket too much capital while trying to grow your business.

1. Does it have the marketing power to sustain longer term growth.
2. Is it unique enough to continue to attract top marketers and
3. Will it be able to compete with the likes of Groupon and Amazon.com.

In choosing a network marketing company many things need to be considered, uniqueness is definately one of them.  These are just some things to consider in choosing a company for long term growth. Remmeber you want to build a busienss once with a company who will be there for the long run.

I have been hearing some people talking  about a MLM company called Uprize and their uniqueness is based on a concept of the currency trading.  Since I have had many years trading currencies I figures I take a look and put together a third part review of what I have  investigated thus far.  They talk about Uprise and Joining the Movement, stating there is a crisis that has demanded change and this change will create a real movement.  They say the felt the need to create this company is the reason of the  World Economic Meltdown.

The company has been founded by Glen Jensen who has 22 years in the MLM and direct sales industry, including  working with over 100 direct sales companies. It is said that he has been first to market many times and is known for his revolutionary marketing plans.

Uprize ‘s concept is to look at things a little different saying that they are actually bring a product to market  below market price and that their product that actually produces income.

Of course they look to target people who can have access to making money 24 hours per day 5 days per week even through their cell phones in the Forex Currency trading marketing place.

So who is the Brains behind Uprize Forex Trading Solution

They talk about the currency market as being the safest and largest  of all financial market even though it is not widely spoken about the currency markets do fluctuates and are just as or even more risky as the stock markets.

Next package on their possible entry point what they  call the Accelerated Seminar Training which would be the same as the original 12 Week course but only presented live, by a corporate training.  Here you will also learn the practical implementation of these trading principles.  This can be attend this live online or in person whenever it works for your schedule.  This is what they call their Partners Package.  You would normally pay upward somewhere around $5000 but can get this type of forex training package and you can purchase it for only $499.99  and hopefully this will allow you the place profitable trades.

Next is Uprize’s Advanced Trading Package . This training would include Live Advanced Trading Strategies and Advanced Money Management  training.   This courese will be taught live by their main man Shawn Lucas,  where Shawn will show you live how to set up a trade and make the trades live in the class.  This also can be repeated as often as you wish and sell for $1499.99,  This would typically cost you upwards of $20,000 if purchase outside the Uprize network.

One last very important thing I would not be  doing you service if I did not mention that I have traded in the forex  market in the past and I have yet to find a system , training, recommendation or tools that can consistently produce profitable trades in the forex market.  These markets are trader by large banks, world central banks are in my opinion manipulated just as the stock market is.  So they are very risky.  Not to mention the constant risk of the European Union collapsing and the US dollar being talked about being replaced as the World Currency.  Don’t let other tell you different so if you don’t have capital to risk be very cautious.

What is Virally Sustainable Traffic?

The questions comes down to can you increase the amount of money you are making and at the same time decrease the amount of time you are working.  It does sound like a outstanding game plan yet can it really be done.  I was recently listening to the Internet “ADD Phenom  David Wood talks about this and if you have ever listened to him before he is interesting but very distractive to me.  Me having ADD listening to a person with ADD it  gets me a little well let’s just say it’s ADD squared.  But he does have good information to share if he would just get to the point and quit doing the Add stuff.

Now where was I.  Oh yea “increase the amount of money you are making and at the same time decrease the amount of time you are working”

So can we take a look for a second at how we could be possibly create this.  What if  we can outsource and pay someone to do our work for us.  Really if we can pay someone 5 to 10 dollars per hour to do the monotonous boring repetitive work while we stay creative and focus on more of the fun money producing activities, it can be possible,  but ….

Can Virally Sustainable Traffic Create More Money with Less Work?

… better yet what if you could get people to do all the stuff you don’t want to do and do it for free.  Now we are talkin’ here!!  This is a plan that I think would work out just great for many of us.  But of course,  you can keep on killing yourself and working to the bone or you can go down an lay on the beach and be in joy!

So how can we do this?

Well if we can find a way it access the social traffic and tap into the viral concepts of social media we can tap into what is called

“ Virally Sustainable Traffic”. 

This is easy to get, and if you do it right you will make more money, work less and improve the quality of your life.  So are you with me on this or what?

So let’s look at this in the social way.  If you examine the social-ability of things.  What is the best way to get the word out about who you are and what you do?  Well the best way to do that would of course be word of mouth,  right?  If you could tap into a way where you did not have to do everything by yourself and have a way to get the word out through a social media environment then we really don’t have to do it all ourselves.

So what makes things go viral,  what inspire people to talk on FaceBook or on the social platforms and how can that same concept be used to get the word out about you and your business?

Sharing Naturally

What is it about human psychology that makes people  talk about things? Well people will usually talk about thing that are fun,  interesting or empowering,  yet people seem to step back and not share when you are talking about money making concepts or business opportunities.   So why don’t people talk to their family, friends and acquaintances about a business opportunities and yet share senseless information about Madonna’s Halftime Performance or some other celebrity gossip.

What makes people share naturally? If you understand this you can get people to share easily and effortlessly and have fun doing it.

People will talk about what is interesting, what is fun and what empowers them or makes them feel good.  Other than that they are not really sharing.  But your goal in business is to also talk business.  You want to get your message out to as many people as possible. Getting your message out can be looked at as getting traffic and the more traffic, the more eyes on your stuff, the more eyes the more sales..

This is the key is to sell stuff. So you got a presentation or a sales letter which you want to be seen by thousands and thousands of people.  You want to get your message out so that you can help as many people as possible in whatever way they need to be helped. The more people watching your presentation the more people lives you will affect and in turn the more money you are going to make.  Goal 1 is to get as many people as possible to watch your presentation and goal number 2 is to get the highest amount to conversions or people buying or joining you in business.

Problem is nobody wants to watch your business presentation or listen to  your commercial.  Face it most presentation are boring

and people really want to be entertained.  When the presentation is not only informative but also interesting and entertaining, people will stick around.  The bottom line is that everybody want to be involved in things that are fun, interesting,  and makes them feel good and  empowered. If one can provide this to their audience, be it fun, empowering, interesting and offer something that will make them feel good then they will keep on coming back.

So what is it that will enable you to get more people in front of your presentation?

Well firstly you must begin to be more fun, interesting, and make power feel empowered.  This will lead them to following you and want to listen to you more of what you have to say and possibly want to do business with you.  The key if to communicate in a way that is natural, telling stories, sharing life experiences and then sharing that with others making people get to know you as you entertain them, empower them and keeping it fun and real.

So here is an idea that I was just introduce to.  What if we looked at Facebook for an example and a concept.  Now Facebook at the current time has over 600 million users. So why do people go to Facebook. Well they go to be entertained, have fun and possibly find something interesting.  But remember Facebook, who is providing this fun place, is also make money and lots of it. So how do they do this? Well for all the millions of people on Facebook, Facebook list specific targeted ads on the sidebar and hundreds of thousands of people click on this on a daily basis enabling Facebook to make lots and lots of money.

So what if you could do this.  What if you were to find things on the internet, and instead of just posting it on Facebook you grab the information or the Youtube embed code and posted the article or video on your blog along with your comments and ideas .

Then you would share this same interesting, funny or empowering information on Facebook just like you are doing already only this time when they click on the link they go to your blog.  At the same time you have your ads and your information on the side bars and throughout your blog for people to easily access.  Once they are there you never know what will grab their attention and keep them interested.

Now you can do this with almost anything.  People are on the internet to be entertained and find something fun and interesting.  If you are using a tool like the Empower Network Blog, which is by the way,  a high authority site and ranks very high on Google,  and you  post to this blogging platform which is fed directly to Facebook it will drive traffic to your site.  People can then come and read your stuff be entertained , they can then comment on your post which shares your information with their Facebook community.  This is a way in which your blog post, the things you share can go viral.

This is exactly what is meant by the term “Virally Sustainable Traffic” 

This can very possibly lead to making you money in a number of ways.  People when on your site can read more of your posts and get an idea of who are you and what you are all about . They can also click on your ads and opt into your mailing list.  This will then give you the opportunity to add value to their lives and you can then begin to market them.

This is what David Wood talks describe as Virally Sustainable Traffic and he talks about this on the Empower Network Free Boot Camp number 3.

It's About Your Success

As you all know Youtube is a highly authority site and if you are marketing online you want to be utilizing this site to create links to your main website or your opt-in page.  Traffic is key when marketing your MLM business online and the more views on your videos will lead to more traffic to your website or blog.  The goal here is to not only to create quality videos but to get your videos in front of as many people as possible.  Your video exposure  will give you the ability to teach, share and develop quality relationships and in turn give you the ability to grow your MLM business.

Here I will list the 8 Key ingredients to getting your thousands of views on your Youtube video.

Step 1:  Include Keywords in Your Video Title.  When posting your video on Youtube it is most important to include the main keyword phrase in the title of the video.  This will allow the main search engines like Google and also the Youtube search engine to  index your video when people are searching for that specific topic.  Also be certain to make your video title enticing and intriguing. Kinda like a headline which would cause someone to want to click on it. The more clicks the more views on you Youtube video.

Step 2:  Include the link that you want to send people to, along with a keyword  optimized  description, in the Video Description field when you are posting your video to Youtube .  To make best use of the search engine on Youtube and Google, write in the video description field just as you would an article, describing your video in a mini article. Since the search engines are looking for a description in words the more relevant your words in the description the better your ranking.  Usually it’s best to make the description approximately 350 words.  If the description is keyword rich, without spamming, it will dramatically increase your ranking and views views of your videos.

Step3 :  Include your main keyword phrase in the file name of the uploaded video.  If your video and keyword is “How to get 1000 views on yourYoutube video” then use that title as the video file name, followed by whatever format .flv or wmv you use when you create the video and upload it.

Step 4:  Tag your video with the targeted keywords.  You have the ability to place keywords or tags on your video in Youtube.  Be sure to use the most highly targeted keywords or keyword phases first and then other related keyword and keyword variations and phrases. The Keyword you use will also enable you to get more views on your Youtube Channel.

Step 5:  Get listed in the Related Videos section of similar video pages -  This will increase your exposure and get you more views to your video if done properly. This is done by including the same keyword tags of related videos. By having closely related tags or keywords,  it will let Youtube know that your video is closely related to other videos that might have already received more views.

Another thing to do is to entice people to Like or Comment on your video.  The more Likes, Comments and views you get on your Youtube Channel  the more Youtube will list your videos, being  the search engine also looks for Social Proof when listing  it in the Related Video section.

Step 6:  Submit Your Video Content on a Regular Basis. This has been stated by Youtube that the more content you post on Youtube the better you will rank in their algorithm.  So be sure to submit quality content on a regular basis.  You can do this by always keeping up on what is going on in your industry and always learning.  Remember from my previous post to always be learning and always be sharing.

Step 7:  Engagement is Key!  All things to consider in engagement would include page views, subscribers, comments and likes , this all affect your videos visibility inside of Youtube..  Start using Youtube just as you would use Facebook or other social media portals.  Adding friends and subscribers and building  up a community of fans. This will increase your ranking and visibility on Youtube which is your goal. It will also increase your video showing up in the “Related Video” Section .

Another way to get more visibility is to seed your videos on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and some of the social bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon.  Of course forums are also a great way in increase your views.  If you are posting to forums on a regular basis, you can embed your video on related forum site but be sure you are engaging on these forums and are providing value to them.  This can add hundreds of views on your videos.

Step 8: Build high quality backlinks to your videos, especially if you want to complete for some highly competitive keyword terms. You can accomplish this by doing some article marketing, social bookmarking, press releases and adding your video link to the RSS Feed submissions.  You want all these specific sources to link back to your specific Youtube video url or link that you want to rank for.  Be sure to include your keyword phrase in the anchor text.  This will help to increase the high quality backlinks which will also get you a better ranking on Google and other search engines.

So what is the solution to marketing your business online.   Yes there are many things but you have to choose what you feel will work for you and just focus on that, and just that.   What I’ve learned this from many successful online marketers is to just focus on one thing at a time.  Stick to the principles and know exactly what you need to do to make that one thing work. Period.

Yes the internet is fast changing and constantly moving so when you understand and implement the fundamentals you will always understand why things are as they are and what to do when you need to change course.

So where does traffic come from?  Well let’s take a look at what is involved.  You create a website but let’s look at in as you have an island out in the middle of the ocean and of course at first it is this undiscovered island in the middle of a vast body of water. Now your island is a fabulous island filled with many amazing unbelievable beautiful treasures. But nobody can find it.  It’s in a place where no ships pass , no planes fly over and no sail boat traverse. All your beautiful treasure just sit there alone and are undiscovered.  Nobody is coming to experience all you have to offer.  So what do you do?

Realize that in order to get people to your fabulous island you must first build bridges to your island,

ways for people to know that it’s there and the exact path to get there.  You also want to make sure that you create as many pathway as possible to get to your island, be it boat, plane , submarine, bridges and so on. Realize that the more ways you create  to get people to your island , your website the more traffic and visitors you will have.

In business and when marketing online you want to create as many pathways,  bridges or routes for people to access and get to you island.  The more bridges, road or pathways the easier it is for people to come and experience what you have to offer.  Now these bridge, route are basically links or backlinks.  These links will point potential customers and prospects to your island , website .

So what kinds of links can you  have?  Well links to your site can be placed on the internet in a number of ways.  It can be articles, videos, pictures, or social media.  All of these links build bridges or pathways to your website.  So if you want to build brides hence links to your websites you have to create unique articles, videos and so on so that the search engines or potential clients will find you. These bridges, link, in turn point them to your island or website.

So when marketing online how do you get traffic?

So what is a formula to actually bring visitors to your website.  The answer lies in the authority of the sites that point to your website.  If you have a high authority site like Google, Youtube, Facebook or Yahoo pointing to your site this carries a lot of weight

Example would be to write an article of anywhere from 500 to 700 words, creating an interesting video and uploading it to Youtube .

So where do you want your links to appear?  Firstly you want to know the sites that currently have the most authority on the interest and what they are used for.  Google and Facbook are the most highly regarded authorities sites on the internet today. Google is the keeper of information and is used mainly for search whereas Facebook is a social environment, where people come to hang out, be entertained  and a place where you can get a lot of exposure.  Next authority site would be Youtube.  It is a highly visited site where people go to learn and be entertained. Placing an educational and entertaining video on Youtube would create a very big bridge to your website.

One last point.  When you are blogging and putting information out there, something to consider, be sure you are providing good information but also be entertaining, add your own personality and opinions and  speak authentically.  People wills see you are a real person and start to follow you.

How to Live an Inspired LIfe

How can we live from a place that drives us with so much love and belief in what we are doing that we jump out of bed because we are so inspired and enthusiastic about what we are doing and what we are about in the world.

Occasionally I, as we all do, have a bad day or  a time with life where we are not feeling at our best.  We feel off, depressed, discouraged or just not inspired. When this happens I always turn on this video of this amazing soul Nick Vujicic.

Nick Vujicic story just inspires me and always brings warmth to my heart and tears to my eyes.

He touches me and inspires me.

When I experience this I know in my heart that what I want most from life is “to touch people’s hearts”. To make a difference in their lives. to allow them to be free to express themselves to live full out, to  dream big and truly express their authentic selves.

I honor Nick for living from this place and inspiring others of the things in life that we must accept and ways to accomplish the impossible. I look everyday for ways that I can encourage and bring out the best in others as I also look to find the best within me.

I have over they years learned to see us all as one. One people , one race – a beautiful an amazing human race on our beautiful planet.

Now what if we were all inspired to live that unique dream that is within all of us?

A Written Plan for Your MLM Busienss Is Key to Your Success

marketing business success.  Every plan is a set of steps, set in time leading to a desired outcome.   Each plan should be associated with an objective,  a goal or a project.  “The plan” can also be a smaller part to a larger or grand plan or Mission Statement.

Regardless of the size of the plan the step are the same.

Step one :  Write down the objective of the plan. What is the goal or outcome you are wanting to achieve or accomplish.

Step Two:  You must have a deadline.  If you do not have a specific date associated with the completion of your project it might go on forever.  Also if it is a part of a great plan, time frames can be missed and delayed in your master plan will create loss of business.  Write down the exact date when you need to complete your plan in insure the great amount of success.

Step Three is to take the general plan down to the specific.  Write down each step that it is going to take to accomplish the objective for this plan.

Step Four :  Determine how much time each step is going to take.  Most of the time people under estimate the time it is going to take to accomplish each specific step and therefore the completion date gets missed and disappointment and/or discouragement  sets in.  Remember that as you step through  the plan things will change and need to be changed, don’t get discouraged it’s just part of the process of success.  So next  on your written plan write down next to each specific step the specific amount of time it will take to complete that step.

Step Five:  Write down the day that you will be working on each specific step so that you have plan out the times appropriately and

Step Six is to add these steps and tasks  to your calendar so that the plan is clearly laid out and will not create any conflict on accomplishing your plan .

Step 7: Create a space on your written plan where you can check off the Steps being accomplished and date they are completed.

You Must Commit to Your Plan of Action

It is so easy to get distracted or interrupted from your plan so your commitment to your plan is critical.  It is from our concentrated committed actions that real change comes about.   So you must be committed, stick with the plan you have created,  and act on it.  If something get in your way of implementing your plan you must make up that time as soon as possible.  If you don’t you will lose momentum, hope and perhaps your overall objective.

Next check off each specific task as it gets accomplished. This will help you see that you are moving forward and getting closer to accomplishing your goal, motivating, encouraging and creating more self-determination.

Then you must record these accomplishments in your Business Journal.  Keep track of how things  are going and what you are learning. Acknowledge your successes and celebrate them as they happen.   Your Business Journal is a living document of your work,  successes and the lessons you are learning. When you record what you are doing and what you are learning you will have proof that you are capable  and can do it again.

Flexibility is also a critical element to your plan of action.  You must be willing to change your plan and its steps if necessary.   When you made your plan you based it on what you knew at the time but as you implement your plan things may not be as you thought, unexpected things, circumstances or awareness  might crop up.  You may have under or overestimated certain things,  but as we learn to better understand what we are trying to accomplish we will have to make adjustments to our plan.

Circumstances,  missed deadlines and people may let you down so again you must adjust your plans  so you can stay on track to achieve your goals.   To be successful at this you must have a method of keeping track of the changes to your plan. If your plan is a simple plan this can be done by simple writing in the changes on your action plan and entering the changes into your Business Journal.  If your plan is more complex you may need some type of software calendar or a project management software tool to keep track of all the adjustments and changes.   You may have to edit out some steps or add additional steps that are appropriate as they are discovered.

So what is the MLM marketing mindset or any marketing mindset that you will need to know and how will understanding the consumer will help you to be successful in your MLM business.  Knowing and understanding  the consumer side of sales  and the way a consumer looks at things as opposed to how a marketer looks at things is key to the success of your network marketing career.

Knowing Your Consumer Problems Needs and Desires is Critical

As a consumer a consumer is always looking for something that will benefit them.  It’s the old “WIIFM”   A consumer is not concerned on how it affects the sales person or manufacturer, a consumer is only concerned with

“ What’s in it for me”

This is known as self-interest and is responsible for competition in the market place.  If one knows they can truly get the same exact product at another location what would you do? Well out of concern for themselves they will go to where they feel  they will get  a better deal.   Other things that are considered is if they know that company  “X”  has superior customer service to Company “Y”what would they do?   They would most likely purchase from Company “X”  of course,   the reason being is because they know if there is anything wrong with what they purchased that is would be handle appropriately by that company and once again illustrating, it is in their best interest.

This is something that is easy to understand.  It is your money and you get to decide what to do with “Your” money.  It is only natural for you to want to spend your money where you feel you will get the best value, be it cost, customer service and just superior value.  That’s the consumer’s choice.

So what is the Correct Mindset for an MLM Marketer?

On the other hand as a Network Marketer you need to understand it’s not about you.   It’s not about what you need or what you think your consumer needs.  In the network marketing industry many use the wrong approach when trying to share the product or the opportunity.  Have you ever used phrases like this.

• I have this new product that I want you to see or
• You have got to see this new service I am using.
• You have to make some time for me I have to show you something.
• This is the greatest thing ever
• I am feeling so much better now, you have got to start taking this right now.

Every one of these statement are statements used by new entrepreneurs and yet they do not take into consideration the needs of their customer only the needs of themselves and what they want to sell,  be  it the product or the opportunity.

All these statement are based on the selfishness of the entrepreneur. Not one of these statements takes into consideration the consumer side of things.   Its’ all about ME ME ME

Dale Carnegie said in How To Win Friend and Influence People “help enough people get what they want and you will get what you want”   This is the shift you need to make as an entrepreneur and especially in your network marketing business.   Help people get what they want by using your product or service or by helping them meet a need or desire that they have and then you will have a successful MLM business.

To shift out of self-interest and into the correct marketing mindset you have to understand the consumer and understand where a consumer’s self-interest comes from.  Your potential consumer or business associate will have problems, needs and wants.  If they already had what they needed there would be no need for them to go to the market place to find it.  Well these underlining needs and wants are the underlining needs for the consumer.   Theses problem, needs and wants must be satisfied.

The second part of a consumer thinking is how does this particular product or service satisfy their problems, needs and wants ?

A product may have many features such as fast internet access, ability to store thousands of photos, the ability to play all your favorite music and games.  These are all features set up by the manufacturer.   The features are the items that will give benefit to the consumer.  The real benefit for the consumer would be things such as being able to access all your contacts with just a touch of a button, surf the internet and bringing access to the entire world through your fingertips.  You will never be out of reach of the photos of your children and grandchildren or your most important medical professional if ever an emergency arises.  Oh and by-the-way you will never be lost with your convenient always with you GPS  where you will be able to produces maps and get voice commands with step-by step directions to any destination in the world . All these benefits are instant and right at your fingertips  in one compact tool called the IPhone that can be carried around in your pocket or purse.  These are all the BENEFITS that the consumer will realize if they have an Iphone.  So what are the BENEFITS that you are offering?

What you need to describe is how the features of your product or opportunity will help the consumer or your prospect so you must structure your language to the consumers point of view. You need to discuss how the features satisfy the consumer’s problems, needs and wants.   This is what you will need to do to shift to the marketing mindset recognizing the self-interest of the consumer and how  you cater to their needs

As an entrepreneur you need to know the needs and wants of your prospect. You need to know what benefits they are seeking and you need to know how your products and your services can satisfy their problems needs and wants. How often should you be Writing in your Business Journal?

There are 4 main times to write in your Business Journal

1.  Before you start your day –take 5 minute to write in your Business Journal Before you start your business day. This should includes a brain dump and write down whatever is on your mind. Write down what you want to get done today, including carryover from the previous day, Create action items to be put into your calendar or planner and you can also make a to do list and well as a call list of people you need to call that day. Benefits of your  writing in your Business Journal in the morning will enable you will keep you focused and productive
2. You should write in your Business Journal during the day when you are feeling a little confused, lost or bogged down. If you get a little off  as you progress through your day take a couple of minutes to write in your business journal to clear your head and give yourself more focus. This will allow you to see what you need to do next to get you to where you want to be .  Also things like “ I really should have not taken this call and why”. Sometimes if we allow ourselves to get distracted we can also see where we are procrastinating, It will also help you get clarity on the things you may already have planned for the day like an upcoming meeting .
3.  Before you retire to bed. Make sure you are recording In your Business Journal what you have accomplished today. This will give you time to evaluate what you have accomplish and what you may want to plan for tomorrow. Make sure to celebrate your successes for that day and let the satisfaction of success permeate your mind and set into your subconscious mind of the successes of your day. See all the things you have accomplished and feel good will continually  give you a sense of accomplishment. Also record the things you did not get done . These will be tasks that you will need to get accomplish tomorrow.
4.  Anytime you need to figure something out, make a plan or come up with a decision, Keep your business journal with you as much as possible, you never know when a great idea is going to pop into your head or you will need to write down a bit of information so it doesn’t slip away. You should also write in your business journal whenever you hit a wall in your business. This will help you to get clarity and refocus or re invent yourself to greater success.
